Chicken breast with butter, lemon and marjoram

  • 800 g chicken breast, boneless, skinned, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp butter, unsalted
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp marjoram, dried
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 pinch freshly ground black pepper

  1. Salt and pepper the chicken all over. Spice it with the marjoram as well and let it rest for half an hour.
  2. Heat up the butter in a pot. Do not let it turn too brown.
  3. Take the temperature back into middle.
  4. Add the chicken and cook on one side for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Turn it and cook again for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the lemon juice.
  7. Cook the chicken through and let the butter and the chicken get the brownish colour a bit.
