Hazelnut-orange stuffing
Ingredients
Convert
350 g bread crumbs, soft
2 pcs eggs
120 g hazelnuts, toasted, chopped
120 g tart apples, peeled, chopped
100 g celery stalk
110 ml orange juice, fresh
75 g onions, chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice, fresh
2 tbsp orange zest, approximately from one fruit
60 g butter, unsalted
1 1/2 tbsp lemon zest, approximately from one fruit
1 pinch nutmeg, ground
1 pinch black pepper
1 tsp fresh ground salt
1 tsp thyme, dried, crushed
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Stir with wooden spoon until combined thoroughly.
Stuff turkey with prepared filling and roast, depending on turkey weight.
When done, remove all stuffing and keep warm.
Serve with carved turkey.
