Honey cookies
Ingredients
Convert
7 oz cane sugar
3 1/2 oz whole-whear flour
2/5 cup icing sugar
2/5 cup all purpose flour
2/5 cup honey
2/5 cup canola oil
3 tbsp milk
1 tsp ginger, ground
1 tsp cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp nutmeg, ground
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp fresh ground salt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 355°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a bowl mix sugar, honey, oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
Mix in flours, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.
Place rounded tablespoons 3 inches apart on a cookie sheet; dust with icing sugar.
Flatten slightly and bake for 12 minutes.
Set on wire rack to cool and serve after.
