Meatless hamburger

  • 4 pcs Hamburger buns
  • 100 g sunflower seeds
  • 120 g bread crumbs
  • 420 g chickpeas, pre-cooked
  • 118 g almonds, ground
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 1 pcs onion, small
  • 80 g coriander, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
Preparation

  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas; set in a bowl and mash with fork.
  2. Place garlic cloves and onion in food processor; pulse until finely chopped.
  3. Add almonds, sunflower seeds, chili powder, cilantro, salt, black pepper, and olive oil.
  4. Process until mixture is coarsely chopped.
  5. Combine with mashed chickpeas and mix with wooden spoon.
  6. Form four patties from the mixture and preheat the grill.
  7. Grill patties for 6-8 minutes per side.
  8. Set in burger buns and serve with fresh salad.
