Raspberry lemonade

  • 10 1/2 oz raspberries, fresh, washed
  • 2/5 cup icing sugar
  • 4 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  1. Boil 100ml of water and let the sugar melt in it. Boil it ‘til it becomes syrupy. Let it cool down.
  2. Boil 400ml of the remaining water and put 100g of raspberry into a pot. Pour the hot water on it.
  3. Let it steep ‘til the water becomes deep red. Filter any fruit pulp from it.
  4. Mix the syrup, lemon juice, and filtered raspberry water in a jug then add the remaining water.
  5. Chill it in the fridge. Right before serving, add the saved raspberries per cup or glass.
